Clinic Upgrades and Procedures
All of our operatories have been fitted with the latest version of the IQAir HealthPro Plus air purifiers. IQAir's HyperHEPA filtration is tested and certified by an independent third-party lab to effectively filter 99.5% of harmful ultrafine pollution particles down to 0.003 microns in size. This is 100 times smaller than what is achieved with ordinary air filtration technology and 10 times smaller than a virus.
Many of our patients are already aware that we have had the Isolite system for many years. Now we have upgraded to the latest Isolite 3 model. We plan to use this device during most, if not all, of our dental procedures. The mouthpiece fits in your mouth and provides suction and moisture control while protecting your cheeks and tongue.
Did You Know???
Our clinic has implemented hospital level sterilization and disinfectant for years already? Most of this occurs "behind the scenes" so patients are rarely aware of the vigorous protocols in place.
All of our dental instruments are bagged in special pouches and opened only after you arrive for your appointment. Afterwards, the instruments are washed in an ultrasonic cleaner, bagged in new sterilization pouches, and autoclaved for complete sterilization (a process that takes about an hour).
Our waterlines are maintained with extensive protocols to ensure delivery of safe and pure water during treatment. Our sterilizers undergo biological spore tests on a weekly basis and our waterlines are tested quarterly to ensure we exceed CDC guidelines.
If you have any concerns or questions about our clinic and its infection control protocol, do no hesitate to contact us! After all, we are doing all of this for your safety!
